International focus
Based on a partnership between Xi’an Jiaotong University and the University of Liverpool, the international university Xi’an Jiaotong–Liverpool University (XJTLU) was established. The university is located in Suzhou, near Shanghai, and was founded in 2006.
XJTLU has a student population of over 25,000 students. According to international rankings, the university is ranked within the Top 1000 in QS World University Rankings and Top 600 in Times Higher Education (THE).
